I created an Exchange Backup set and set a schedule. The service is running. However after a week there is still no backup. Nothing in the report. A folder exists on the USB target but it is empty. Cannot find any log files as the log folder only has setup logs no backup logs. This is Exchange 2010 on server 2008R2

Daily at :30 after midnight event ID 33 SXS is logged

How does one get the backup to actually run?

Hello,

The Event ID although is related to CloudBacko Pro it may not be responsible for your scheduled Exchange backups not running properly. As the "c:\program files\cloudbacko pro\bin\VMCmd.exe" is used by CloudBacko pro for VMware backups. Do you have any VMware backup sets created on CloudBacko Pro?

To allow us to look into your scheduled backup problem do you mind sending us the CloudBacko Pro scheduler logs. They can be found in the following locations:

C:\Users\{%username%}\.cbp\log\Scheduler
C:\ProgramData\CloudBacko Pro\log


Please upload the log files to a Dropbox, OneDrive, Google drive etc and share the link on this thread for us to download?

Hello,

Can you check your firewall settings to see if it allows outbound connections by CloudBacko Pro to our license server?

Please refer to the following thread Do I need any special settings on my firewall in order to use CloudBacko? viewtopic.php?f=58&t=83

Can you also go to [Administrative Tools]>[Services]>[CloudBacko Pro Services] and restart the service? To see if this will resolve the problem.

Just to let you know that CloudBacko Pro/Lite v1.11.0.0 has been released, this version contains the bug fixes for your reported "Scheduled backup will not run" problem due to "SideBySide" Application errors on Windows 2008 R2.

Please update CloudBacko Pro/Lite to v1.11.0.0 by following step in the following FAQ "How do I update my CloudBacko installation to the latest version?" viewtopic.php?f=58&t=73
