Hello,

To help to get clearer picture of your Exchange 2010 backup problem. Do you mind copying the backup logs to Dropbox, OneDrive, Google drive etc and share the link on this thread?

Hello

The back up log seems to indicate some issues with the local index files located in the G:\Temp\CloudBacko Pro\1459151765507 folder.

-Is G drive a local or network drive?
-At the time when the error was shown at 21:00:16 on 2016/04/24, did you know approximately how much free disk space was available on G drive?

Can you try the following steps:

1. Make sure no backups are running
2. Exit from CloudBacko Pro UI
3. Rename the folder G:\Temp\CloudBacko Pro\1459151765507\Local@1459151866216 to G:\Temp\CloudBacko Pro\1459151765507\Local@1459151866216.old
4. Startup CloudBacko Pro and run the Exchange backup job again

Let us know the results.

Hello,

G: drive is the same external usb disk where the backup is done.

There is ample free space on G:

I have modified to make the temporary file is on drive D: and I have changed the name to D: \ Temp \ CloudBacko Pro \ 1459151765507 \ Local@1459151866216.old (once closed the UI)

I have relaunched the backup but gives the same error.

Regards.

Hello,

There could be some problems with the index files on the destination storage.

Please try the following steps:

1. On CloudBacko UI go to [Utilities]>[Data Integrity Check] and select the affected backup set and press [Start]
2. After the Data Integrity Check has completed with no errors found try running the backup job again. If there are any errors/warning please post it on this thread.

Note: If you are prompted to delete the backup set please select NO and please let me know so I can further advise you

Hi sisop,

The error "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError:Java heap space" suggests that CloudBacko is out of the set heap memory. To resolve this, can you increase the heap size to 2GB to give CloudBacko more memory resources.

To increase the Java memory settings:

1. Exit CloudBacko Pro and make use there are no active backup jobs running.
2. In a text editor open up the C:\Program Files\CloudBacko Pro\config.ini file

Default settings:
app.system.ui.vm.opt.xms=128
app.system.ui.vm.opt.xmx=768
app.system.conf.language=en
app.system.product.name=cbp
app.system.common.format.datetime.hourinday=true

3. Depending on the amount of free memory on your machine, you can increase the settings from 768M to 2048M.

New settings:
app.system.ui.vm.opt.xms=128
app.system.ui.vm.opt.xmx=2048
app.system.conf.language=en
app.system.product.name=cbp
app.system.common.format.datetime.hourinday=true

4. Save the config.ini
5. Go to [Administrative Tools]>[Services]>[CloudBacko Pro Services] and restart the service for the settings to take effective.

After the heap size has been increased, please run the backup again to see if the problem can be resolved.
