Switching from Pro Trial to Lite

I am presently testing CloudBacko Pro Trial. I realized that I don't need the Pro version, so I want to switch to the CloudBacko Lite (license).
How can I do this without losing the backups that I have already made?

Hello

Thank you for your interest in CloudBacko.

Yes, you can switch from CloudBacko Pro to CloudBacko Lite without losing you original backup data. Please follow these steps:

1. On CloudBacko Pro go [Backup Sets] and make sure any backup sets other than File, Windows System, and Lotus Notes are removed first.
2. Disable the scheduled backup and or CDP settings for your backup sets.
2. Then go to [Utilities]>[Ex/Import Settings]>[Export Now] to backup a copy of the "settings.sys" file to disk.
3. Install CloudBacko Lite trial on the same machine.
4. On CloudBacko Lite to [Utilities]>[Ex/Import Settings]>[Import Now] and select the "settings.sys" you previous exported.
5. On CloudBacko Lite go to [Backup Sets] and you should see you original backup sets.
6. Enable the scheduled backup and or CDP settings for your backup sets.

Once you have confirmed you can restore the files and backup is working properly you can uninstall CloudBacko Pro

Note: If you are using CloudBacko on a Windows platform CloudBacko Lite only supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1

Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately, I misunderstood the first instruction (until it was too late) and removed ALL backupsets.
Is there a way to recover them from a backup?

Hello,

Sorry, if you have deleted all your backup sets then the backup data will also be deleted as well.
