Hello Tina,

-Can you tell which CloudBacko version using are currently using?
-Is the storage destination a cloud, FTP, or local storage?

To rule out any data integrity issues on this storage destination. Can you got to [Utilities]>[Data Integrity Check], select the Run CRC option and start the check? If there are no errors found after the check, go ahead and run the Space Freeing Up again.

CloudBacko Light 1.9.2.4

It takes so long to run the integrity check, I can't tell if it completed successfully. The user comes back and closes the screen. The error occurs during the retention policy portion of the backup and it refers to one specific Excel file on the end user's desktop. The storage destination is SFTP.

There is no version 1.9.2.4 of CloudBacko in the market. The latest version is 1.9.2.0. Can you update to this release and try again ?

Hello,

The time it takes to run an integrity check is dependent on a number of factors:

1. The number of files/folders in the storage destination, the more files/folders there are the longer it will take.
2. If the storage is on a Cloud location, data integrity check will take longer on a Cloud destination compared with local destination.
3. If the "Run Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) during data integrity check" option is enabled.

When the data integrity check is complete the following message is show on the CloudBacko UI "Data Integrity Check is completed successfully".

To help us the errors encounter during the "Data Integrity Check" job. Do you mind copying the latest CloudBacko system logs to Dropbox, OneDrive, Google drive etc and share the link on this thread?

They are locate in the following folder C:\Users\{%username%}\.cbl\log\System.
