Backup Running Forever

Trial installation of CloudBacko Lite. I started a SFTP backup on 10/23/14. It still shows that it is running 10/29/14. So I examined the logs. No errors or warnings. The most recent entry is from 10/24/14. Obviously the backup is not still in progress. I tried cancelling it but it does not respond. I even rebooted the computer and it is still running. Please let me know what to do in this situation.

Hello,

It sounds like the backup job may have stalled/crashed and the backup status flag has not been updated.

Can you try the following steps to clear the backup status flag:

1. Open Windows Explorer locate the following folder C:\Users\{%username%}\.cbp\ipc\BackupSet
2. Delete all the folders under C:\Users\{%username%}\.cbp\ipc\BackupSet

Note: Please make sure no genuine backups are running when you do this.

Although you have reset the backup status. The report status will permanently show "in progress" to reflect the fact the backup job has never completed.
