OneDrive permissions required by cloudBacko

Hi CloudBacko Team,
After a long search for a suitable backup tool which encrypts my backups and then puts them on a cloud service I discovered CloudBacko. Reading through your webpage I was sure, that this will suite my needs. I quickly installed CloudBacko lite and was about to set up my first backup. As a target I wanted to use OneDrive. But then I had to revise my very good first impression on CloudBackup. Why do you need access to all my mail addresses and contacts saved with my Microsoft account to store backups?
Can you provide some details why this information is required and how it is used? Will it be uploaded to CloudBacko?

Hello Peter,

Thank you for your interest in CloudBacko.

To backup files to your OneDrive account CloudBacko only requires read/wrote access to a valid OneDrive account using the login credentials & Authorization Code you provide. No further information is required.

The data Cloudbacko uploads to OneDrive is based on the files/folders selected by the end user in the Backup Source.
