Quota Exceeded

Postby blockanz » Sat Aug 08, 2015 10:17 am

Hi

I have created a Windows System back on my Windows 7 PC. When I run the initial backup, I am getting the following error through the backup:

Backup Interrupted by Quota Exceeded.

The destination drive has plenty of space so not sure what the error relates to.

Can anyone advise please.

Hi,

To get a clearer picture of where the quota exceed message is coming from, do you mind copying the backup logs to Dropbox, OneDrive, Google drive etc and share the link on this thread for us to download? If you prefer, you can pm me the link.

Please refer to our FAQ "Where are the CloudBacko backup and restore logs located?" viewtopic.php?f=58&t=233

I am having the same problem. Here is the text from the log file. The first two lines you can see the backup was still in progress and then in the third line it gets interrupted:

Hi,

Could you advise on what version of CloudBacko you are running on? This error normally a message from Cloud to advise that the quota had been filled. As you set your destination to a local location, can you advise if this is a local drive or network drive? If network drive, is this a NAS device and is there a quota assign to your access account?

Thank you for the response. CloudBacko Pro version 1.11.2.0. My system is Windows 7 x64. The storage location is a 1TB USB external drive. After the error happened, I saw the drive had 185GB free space. But after analyzing the log, it seems that the 185GB was freed after CloudBacko removed temporary files. It is possible there was not enough free space in my USB drive to continue the backup. I am now backing up to Google Drive where I have more space and after it finishes, I will see the total space required.

Hi,

Thank you for the update. If the temp folder is under the same drive, then it is quite possible that the issue is caused by the drive being full. Please let us know how it goes.

I don't think my drive is full and I have this issue. How do I know for sure if the drive is full or not?
